Quality Measures

Quality measures are tools that help measure and track the quality of health care services provided by health care professionals, clinics and hospitals within the PQA health care network. These measures use data associated with providers’ ability to deliver high-quality care or relate to long term goals for quality health care.

Tracking and reporting quality measures helps to ensure that our health care system is delivering effective, safe, efficient, patient-centered, equitable, and timely care.

Glaucoma optic nerve eval

Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma (POAG): Optic Nerve Evaluation:

Percentage of patients aged 18 years and older with a diagnosis of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) who have an optic nerve head evaluation during one or more office visits within 12 months
